Service Design is a fast growing interdisciplinary field of design consultancy which started in the USA, the UK and Scandinavia and is now getting more and more attention from companies and organizations in the Netherlands as well. Service Design is Design Thinking applied to the service industry. The afternoon program goes on with the topic of innovation within creative companies, be it designers, advertising agencies, architects or (digital) media companies – all need to innovate their products and services to distinguish themselves in the more and more competitive creative marketplace.

Speakers (among others) are:
Scott Belsky of Behance.net and author of the bestseller Making Ideas Happen. Scott is mentioned in the list of the 100 Most Creative People in Business (Fast Company). His mission: to help creative talent on its way to success.

Paul Graham, director of Anomaly London, one of the most innovative advertising agencies in the world that constantly refreshes itself by creating new business models.

Oliver King, director of Engine, the leading British Service Design agency that helps clients from all business and government sectors to improve their services.

Ross Zietz, art director of Threadless, the cool T-shirts webshop from America that is completely based on crowd sourcing.

Adrian Hon, founder and Chief Creative Officer of the award-winning entertainment production company Six to Start (UK) that is widely acknowledged as being one of the most innovative, creative, and expert games companies in the world. Adrian talks about transmedia games and the future of storytelling.

Arne van Oosterom, initiator of DesignThinkers and the international Design Thinkers Network Wenovski.

Roland van der Vorst, director of advertising agency They, mentiond in Ad Age as the best small advertising agency in the world.

Of course there will be break-out workshops and lots of space to network with other creative entrepreneurs, from advertising, design, architecture, internet and managers in business who look for more creativity in their business.
